Admissions Procedure & Requirements
The following provisions outline the general and specific conditions, Right to Education (RTE) considerations, and documentation required for admission to Kakatiya Public School.
A student seeking admission to any class in a school will be eligible for admission to that class only if they have been studying in a recognized school or have passed the qualifying or equivalent examination.
No admission shall be taken in Class XII directly. Students must have completed a regular course of study for Class XI and passed the Class XI examination from a school affiliated to the same board/ State Board/ ICSE followed by procedure.
Students migrating from another school must produce a transfer certificate duly countersigned by the educational authorities. Admission to a higher class requires prior permission from the Chairman/Competent Authority if the admission is sought after August 31st.
Open only to students who have passed Class VIII examination from an institution affiliated to the same board or recognized by the State/UT government.
No direct admission; students must have completed a regular course of study for Class IX and passed the Class IX examination from an institution affiliated to the same board.
Admission must satisfy the requirements of age limits (minimum and maximum) as determined by the State/UT Government.
Private schools must reserve 25% of seats for children from socio-economically backward sections, with the state government reimbursing fees for these students.
Private schools within a 1 km radius of a government or government-aided school may be exempted from this provision, prioritizing admissions to government schools instead.
Schools located within defined limits or areas notified by the state government under RTE rules are expected to ensure accessibility for children from nearby communities.
